The Story of Plastic: Film Screening and Panel Discussion by Plastic Free Savannah

April 21 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Plastic Free Savannah hosts The Story of Plastic

Plastic Free Savannah, a community coalition of plastic activists, is hosting a Virtual Movie Screening and Community Discussion of The Story of Plastic in honor of Earth Day.  Plastic Free Savannah has licensed the ground-breaking documentary, The Story of Plastic, to offer free viewing access for local attendees. The group has also organized an engaging community discussion to follow this exclusive viewing opportunity.

The Story of Plastic is a feature-length documentary about the real causes of the plastic pollution crisis and the heroes who are rising up to the challenge. The community discussion will highlight local experts, Paulita Bennett-Martin of Oceana, Hermina Glass-Hill of Susie King Taylor Women’s Institute and Ecology Center, and Dr. Joe Pfaller of The Caretta Research Project to discuss their experiences and ways you too can fight the plastic pollution crisis in our Savannah community.
