With 20 different workshops, covering a variety of topics, there’s a little something for everyone! Each workshop lasts about 30 minutes and is completely free to attend.

Break it Down – Play a biodegradable sorting game
SOS (Save Our Seas) – Learn the connection between single use plastic and marine debris. See the results from a study of collecting single use plastic sandwich bags from cafeterias. The students are selling reusable sandwich bags.
Turtle Table – Enjoy learning and looking at a tortoise and a terrapin turtle
Build a Box City – This up-cycling activity will allow children to draw on different size cardboard boxes to create and build their version of a city.

More activities throughout the festival
Forsyth Park Tree Walk
11 am—Tree Walk through Forsyth Park with Savannah Tree Foundation. Meet in front of the front of the Fragrant Garden to explore the Forsyth Park Arboretum. Guided by local tree experts, you will discover the wide variety of trees we have in our park. The walk will end at back at the festival.
Participants of the tour will receive tree seedlings.
Learn about our local ecosystem, meet people in your community and clean up litter along the way!
Local biologists will be leading Naturehood Tours of the neighborhoods surrounding Forsyth Park, teaching about our local ecosystem and picking up litter along the walk.
As teams get back from their tours, litter will be collected in a Trash Mountain for everyone to see what was collected throughout the day!
There will be 3 tours throughout the day:
Unaccepted materials include items containing biohazards, hazardous waste, freon, or liquids of any type, smoke detectors, or radioactive materials.
